Crating Entrance Products with Care

How an entrance is packed is key to a successful shipment. Our entrance crates are not an afterthought – a lot of time and effort has been put into designing and building durable wooden crates that keep inside components secure for a journey of hundreds or thousands of miles. In our woodshop, a team of crate builders assemble crates specifically for the entrance that will be packed inside, including interior padded braces and parts boxes. Once the entrance parts are inside, the top of the crate is sealed to prevent water infiltration using heavy duty plastic sheeting and a heat gun.

Handling National and International Shipments

Crystal and the logistics team handle the shipment of finished entrances, and also, parts that are to have special coatings and finishes applied (which will return to the factory for assembly), such as powder coating, galvanization, anodization, Kynar paints, etc. They work with a variety of shipment vendors – ground, ship, air, or a combination - in an effort to drive timely arrival at the lowest cost to the customer.
