High Level Security - Prevent.
High Security Doors and Portals
When security is critical, high security revolving doors and portals have been proven to prevent intrusion. Although security doors and portals differ in numerous ways, their commonality lies upon their ability to take pressure off employees by eliminating instances of tailgating or piggybacking. When coupled with biometric and access control devices, security doors and portals work to support regulatory compliance, risk and liability reduction and accurate metrics collection.
While there is an ideal, and often different entry solution for each area within a building, security entrances that deliver intrusion prevention often provide protection for employee-only entrances, data centre rack rooms, sensitive file locations, and the executive suite, for example. These entrances incorporate full-height barriers that prevent crawling under or climbing over, as well as sophisticated sensor technologies that stop tailgating and piggybacking. All this for a superior security entrance solution.
Key Benefits

Products in this Security Level
Our Circlelock Collection
Providing the highest level of security available in an entrance solution, our collection of Circlelock security portals were designed as a solution to completely prevent the wrong person from gaining access to a building or secure area. Portals enforce single entry by using various sensor systems, including one that scans the compartment multiple times, confirming the authorised individual is alone inside. Through the use of an optional, internal mounting post, Circlelock portals can include a secondary verification system to confirm the identity of the user while they are inside the portal. Security portals are used most often at sensitive areas of a building where traffic is low.
Our Tourlock Collection
When intrusion prevention is of top concern, but maintaining high throughput is necessary, our collection of Tourlock security revolving doors are the solution.
By design, the Tourlock stops all instances of tailgating, or someone trying to enter via the trailing compartment. Security revolving doors allow traffic to flow in two directions, yet the desire for sequential or simultaneous traffic flow can be accommodated based on the Tourlock model chosen.

Medium Security Solutions
Speed gates provide a strong visual obstacle against intrusion, and, when coupled with biometric and access control devices, can raise alarms to alert guard staff of unauthorised entry in real time for quick action. Ideal for building reception areas, the speed gates also work to support regulatory compliance and risk reduction.

Full height and waist high turnstiles do not have sensors or alarms to alert guard staff of infiltration. Therefore, their presence serves as a deterrent against casual attempts of gaining entrance by climbing or crawling over. These security solutions are appropriate for building perimeters, supervised locations, or any location that is looking to control large crowds. They may also be used for “exit only”.
