The Mantrap Door.
Circlelock Solo
Offering the highest level of physical protection in a security entrance, the Circlelock Solo is the ultimate defence against intrusion into sensitive areas of a building. Ensuring only one authorised person enters at a time, high security portals eliminate the need for manned supervision or guards. The salary of a guard supervising a swing door or open walkway 24 / 7 / 365, therefore provides a return on investment in under a year.
The Ultimate Single-entry Security Portal
The round, cylindrical compartment features two interlocking, automatic sliding doors. Upon authorisation, the first door opens allowing a user to enter the portal. Integrated sensors confirm the user is alone and if so, a signal is given to the second sliding door to open, completing the passage into the secure area. A secondary biometric system can be used to confirm identity once
inside the chamber.
- Space efficient cylinder compartment with an interlocking door system for accurate tailgating detection

- Working principle supports bi-directional traffic, multi-factor authentication
- Self-managed – no manned supervision required
- Steel floor construction facilitating mounting on a computer floor
- Optional surface mount supporting cost-effective quick installation
- On-board user communication system (integrated visual and audio feedback signalling)
- Seamless integration and feedback with access control systems, biometric devices and building management systems

The Uncompromising Credential Solution - Biometrics
Organisations around the globe are making their buildings more secure by combining physical security entrances with biometric devices, ensuring only the right people are able to enter. Either as a stand-alone or paired with a standard access control device, biometric devices provide an advanced method for uniquely identifying authorised users based on distinguished biological traits. Authorising users based on these traits further mitigates the risk of unauthorised entry.

Not All Security is Equal
Boon Edam Offers Scalable Security Levels
When it comes to physical security entrances, there are some different options available to choose from – high security portals, security revolving doors, speed gates, full-height and tripod turnstiles. These options vary greatly in their capabilities and can confuse security managers looking to secure their facilities from risk. To assist professionals in selecting the right entrance solution, we have categorised security entrances by their level of security, as it relates to tailgating mitigation. Is the goal: tailgating deterrence (low security level), detection (medium security level) or complete prevention (high security level).
