The Turnstile Door.
Tourlock 120
The Tourlock 120 is the security revolving door of choice when space is limited, combined with the need for larger door compartments. This three-wing automated security door is a reliable, comfortable security entry solution that effectively prevents tailgating and piggybacking. The three-wing configuration has an alternating rotation direction that ensures traffic from either side of a secured area is controlled while delivering a large and comfortable segment space. Users entering and leaving the building can, however, authorise themselves simultaneously, the second authorisation will be remembered, and rotation will start as soon as the first passage has been completed.
The Comfortable and Secure Security Revolving Door
The three wings have the advantage of providing more space in each segment, which gives the authorised user a comfortable experience when travelling through. It offers a slightly lower throughput than its sister – the Tourlock 180 and is the ideal solution when comfort, high security and predominantly single direction traffic applies.
By offering various operating functions, the Tourlock 120 delivers a flexible entrance that can be adapted to the changing demands within a 24 hour operation cycle.

Taking Safety and Security Seriously
The Tourlock 120 meets the latest CE safety regulations to allow for a trusted and convenient passage, even for untrained users in public locations. In compliance with the European EN17352 user safety level, the door also provides:
- Optional highly accurate end wall buffer (EBS) safety sensors with adjustable detection width to safeguard the main closing edge
- Safety rail door wing (SRD) buffers to protect heels and toes
- Safety rail turning (SRT) leading-edge buffers to protect hands and fingers
- Contrasting instructional safety stickers on door wings
- Optional Emergency stop button to switch off and unlock the drive instantly, without any security compromise
- Pull release with a lock to release the door set in case of power failure
Touchless Options for a New World
The Tourlock 120 can be controlled and monitored via a contemporary touchscreen panel or, for more advanced controlling, be integrated with the ACS system. Seamless integration with any ACS via I/O or IP communication is hassle-free, with many flexible integration opportunities available to make sure your high security door is set up to suit your exact location's security criteria. Our entry experts are trained to assist you further with this.
Using biometric authorisation systems allows you complete touch and frictionless entry. There is no need to reach out to your authorisation card or tag. Knowing who is in your building, as well as how many people are there at one time, has become paramount in a Pandemic world - where reducing over-crowding is top-of-mind for the security and facility managers.
The Heart of the Security Entrance - Access Control
The access control system is the heartbeat of the physical security entrance. The two work hand-in-hand to create the most effective method for mitigating any unauthorised entry. The access control system grants and manages access to certain areas within a building, while the physical security entrance operates to deter, detect or prevent tailgating and piggybacking. Integration between the two is a fine art and a balance must be struck between functionality, space and aesthetics.
Level Up
One size does not fit all and therefore the Tourlock 120 is highly customisable. This opens up a world of opportunities to create your own tailored high security entrance. To see the possibilities, download the Tourlock 120 brochure.

Manhattan Regional Airport
Location: Manhattan, KS USA - Product: Tourlock 120
A major impetus for a brand-new terminal was the increase in the size of the jets landing at MHK. Anything larger than a 60-seat capacity and the Transportation Security Agency (TSA) requires a “complete” security program in terms of access control, video surveillance, and other systems. The Tourlock 120 one-way security revolving door is activated by a presence detection sensor on the canopy of the door facing into the hold room. When people approach the door, it begins rotating automatically, allowing passengers to get to the other side quickly —no waiting or stopping.

Boon Edam Offers Scalable Security Levels
When it comes to physical security entrances, there are some different options available to choose from – high security portals, security revolving doors, speed gates, full-height and tripod turnstiles. These options vary greatly in their capabilities and can confuse security managers looking to secure their facilities from risk. To assist professionals in selecting the right entrance solution, we have categorised security entrances by their level of security, as it relates to tailgating mitigation. Is the goal: tailgating deterrence (low security level), detection (medium security level) or complete prevention (high security level).
